Now that One UI 6.1 has almost reached all compatible Galaxy phones and tablets, and the focus has shifted to the One UI 6.1.1 update, which will launch with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in July. Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1.1 will primarily concentrate on Samsung’s flagship phones, foldables, and tablets. Samsung One UI 7 is the upcoming update for Galaxy users. Now, Samsung Galaxy users are talking about One UI 7 and when it will arrive as Google has recently released Android 15 Beta 3.

Samsung Galaxy users can anticipate the arrival of Android 15 and One UI 7 by the end of 2024. Google is currently the next iteration of Android 15. It is now in its beta 3 phase. Many Pixel phones are already a part of it, and Samsung is also gearing up to join it. 

Samsung is preparing for One UI 7 built on Android 15. The premier Galaxy device to receive Android 15 (One UI 7) is likely the Galaxy S24 series, scheduled to be launched by the second half of this year.

One UI 7 beta testing program before the official release

According to the report, a beta program will be launched before launching any stable release of the One UI 7 update (Android 15) on Samsung’s official website. However, Samsung has already started its internal One UI 7 beta testing, but it is not ready for the public yet. Later, Samsung will launch a beta program allowing users to test the latest version of One UI and Android.

The stable release of One UI 7 (Android 15) is expected to be released in October or early November primarily for the newest Galaxy S24. The Outdated devices such as the Galaxy S21 series might have to wait longer for this update. 

One UI 7 expected features 

Samsung’s One UI 7, built upon Android 15, is all set to unveil numerous enhancements and customization tools designed to enrich user experiences. Among the anticipated features, the update may include satellite connectivity, likely for the Galaxy S24, enhanced battery health monitoring, a private space akin to Samsung’s Secure Folder, app archiving capabilities, improved multitasking functionalities, integration with Find My Device Network, a notification cooldown feature to curb spam, partial screen sharing capabilities, and more.

Eligible Samsung Galaxy Phones for One UI 7 (Android 15) 

The list of eligible devices is yet to be announced. However, it is expected that the rollout will begin with the latest flagship Galaxy S24 series, possibly in October or November, then gradually expand to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S22 series, A-series, tablets, and more.

In August last year, the Galaxy S23 One UI 6.0 beta program was launched, so there’s a chance that the One UI 7 beta might be postponed, similar to following the trend. Despite this, Samsung has not released an official statement regarding the beta and stable releases of One UI 7, nor has it confirmed the final list of eligible devices.
