Samsung is rapidly rolling out the July 2024 security patch update for Galaxy devices; the company has expanded the update to several countries in the last few days. However, due to carrier restrictions, Galaxy device units in the US are yet to receive the update. However, slowly, Verizon is rolling out the July 2024 security update for over 15 Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphones.
With the latest development, Verizon has released the July 2024 security patch for several Samsung flagship devices, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S21 series as well as popular foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Z Fold 3. The latest July 2024 security patch is committed to providing some security enhancements for the Galaxy device, so don’t expect any new features for the device.
Moving to SMR, the July 2024 security patch will provide over 20 improvements, some of which were introduced by Google to fix issues observed in the Android OS.
Additionally, 33 patches have been added by Samsung to fix security vulnerability-related issues. To take advantage of all the new security modifications, you should update the device to the latest version.
