With just a few days to go, Samsung is getting ready to launch the One UI 7 beta for Galaxy devices, which is based on Android 15. The business has been testing One UI 7 builds internally on its flagship smartphones, and it has now expanded the testing to include the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, a smartphone from the A series.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone has been observed running a One UI 7 testing build, distinguished by the version number A556BXXU4BXGA, according to the most recent information obtained from Checkfirm. The CSC code EVR, which stands for the United Kingdom, indicates that this testing is exclusively for the European version of the Galaxy A55.
The release of this new build indicates that Samsung is working hard on the upcoming version of the One UI custom skin. The business is expected to launch a Galaxy smartphone beta program soon. With the help of this program, users will be able to test out One UI 7’s features ahead of time.
Apart from this, GeekBench has already been used to assess the performance of other Galaxy devices running One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. The Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy A35 are some of these models.
Notably, Samsung declared at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) that the stable version of One UI 7 will launch formally on October 3, 2024. New flagship phones such as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be the first to receive the update. It will then be handed out to further devices.
