Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S25 series, including Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to launch in 2025. There have already been rumors regarding the next Samsung phones, one of which stated that the Galaxy S25+ won’t be released in next year. That assertion has been disputed by a recent report, which asserts that Samsung is keeping the “Plus” model in its portfolio. Only two Galaxy S25 models—the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra—were found in the IMEI database, according to a report published by Android Headlines last week. Presumably, Samsung intended to discontinue the Plus model from its range.

Samsung Galaxy S25+ launch may happen after all
However, according to a recent GizmoChina story, the Galaxy S25+ has been detected in the GSMA database, indicating that the launch of the device is still scheduled for next year. Sammobile had also reported that Samsung won’t be removing S25+ from the series.

The Galaxy S25 series has already been the subject of several leaks and rumors. According to reports, Samsung intends to employ the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU exclusively for all models this time around.
This suggests that the Exynos-powered Galaxy S25 may not be released the following year. It’s also predicted that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would have rounded corners, and it might just.
