Samsung is set to release One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. And later on other Galaxy phones, the company’s software support is going in different directions. Samsung refreshed its software support page yesterday, detailing the July 2024 patch and the list of eligible devices. Sadly, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A21s has reached the end of the support period, which means there will be no more software updates.

The Galaxy A21s was announced in 2020. The Galaxy A21s smartphone lineup has just celebrated its fourth birthday, with Samsung discontinuing its support for official updates. Users of A21s phones are still rocking it thanks to pro-grade features and constant software support.
The Korean tech giant shipped the Galaxy A21s with Android 10 when it was launched in 2020. Later, the handset received three major updates in the form of Android 11, Android 12, and Android 13.
In its four years long run, the Galaxy A21s upgraded to a new operating system three times, up to Android 13. With each new OS version, the company brings new useful features and optimizations so users can take full advantage of their devices.
Moreover, the last major update that the phone received was the Android 13 OS update. Meanwhile, its last security patch was the May 2024 patch.
If you are still using the Galaxy A21s gadget, you should switch to the latest devices like Galaxy A15, A25, and A35, which offer advanced features and the latest software. If you continue to use the device six months after the last security patch update, the device will not be able to keep your privacy and data safe from hazards.
