Google recently rolled out Beta 3 for Android 15, inviting testers to explore new functionalities. Samsung, on the other hand, is preparing to release the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 iteration along with the next-generation foldable, which is also expected to come to the Galaxy S series devices. Meanwhile, community moderators have confirmed that Samsung improves clock format alignment in Galaxy devices with Android 15-based One UI 7.

Recently, a user highlighted an issue wherein the QuickStar Good Lock module feature causes problems when the clock format is set to ‘AM/PM’. Also, he pointed out that the icons and battery display do not align correctly with the clock.
In response, a Samsung Community moderator acknowledged the clock format alignment issue and assured users that they would review it to implement it on One UI 7 based on Android 15. In addition, moderators reported that this alignment error is especially noticeable when the device has Korean or Chinese characters. However, this problem was not observed with other characters. However, the moderator has not confirmed anything further about it.

However, the One UI 6.1.1 update may delay Samsung One UI 7. For the first time, Samsung is considering rolling out the x.1.1 update of One UI for non-foldable devices. Interestingly, One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24 series will include new Galaxy AI features in August 2024.
