Galaxy owners receive a message regarding the latest One UI software upgrade from the Samsung Members app update. According to the most recent announcement, security enhancements have been added to the One UI update from July 2024 for Galaxy devices.
There is no notification on the Samsung Members app when a new update is available, instead, it provides you with information on the latest software that is installed on your device. August 1st saw the publication of the notice, which may continue in the upcoming months.
On a number of handsets, including the Galaxy S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra, the Members’ app notice was released. It appears to be a modification implemented following the most recent Members app upgrade. Although not very significant, it is helpful for people who don’t care about firmware updates.
Members of Samsung received a significant upgrade yesterday. With this update, the app is compatible with OS versions up to Android 15. This suggests that the Galaxy One UI Beta Program will launch soon.
Because Samsung’s update changelog typically omits important information, we constantly criticize it. Based on the firmware size, owners of Galaxy devices conjecture about modifications. It is yet to be seen, though, if further modifications are communicated to members by notice.
Samsung keeps improving the One UI upgrade experience. Software support is already available for up to 84 months from the company. With this length, compatible models like as the S24 series, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 are guaranteed at least 7 major Android upgrades.
Prior to the S24 series, devices can receive OS upgrades for four years and security fixes for five years. Like the majority of Chinese flagships, the company’s most recent budget phones are also eligible for a 60-month software upgrade plan.
