After the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 5, Samsung has released the May 2024 security update for its Galaxy Tab S9 series in Europe. This firmware is based on One UI 6.1 and mainly focuses on security and stability improvements for the devices.
May 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra in Europe can be recognized by the One UI build version ending with BXE3 and weighing around 500MB.
It is important to note that this update does not introduce any new features or fixes for any bugs you might be facing on One UI 6.1 but rather resolves several security issues. It contains fixes for 25 issues specific to Samsung, as well as 3 critical and 26 high-level security vulnerabilities.

Galaxy Tab S9 series users can manually check for this update in the above mentioned area. To do this, they should go to the “System Settings” of their device, select the “Software Update” option and then click on “Download and Install”.
If an update is available, install it now. This process will ensure that their device is up to date with the latest security provided by the company.
