Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, F62, F13 get May 2024 security update in India
As per the information, Samsung is rolling out the May 2024 update for a bunch of devices including both Snapdragon and Exynos variants of Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy F62, and Galaxy F13 in India. With this latest firmware, the Korean tech giant assures to keep the devices protected with recent advancements.
The May 2024 Update is a regular monthly software update that focuses on enhancing the security of the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain secure and protected. It also improves protection against dangerous threats, viruses, and other security-related glitches that can harm your Galaxy device.
Moving forward, the patch also enhances the overall performance of the system and allows users to operate their work gadgets more seamlessly. Furthermore, the May 2024 security patch bulletin mentions fixes for over 45 security flaws including CVE and SVE from Google and Samsung.

Talking about availability, the latest firmware for both Snapdragon and Exynos variants of Galaxy S21 FE is rolling out in India with One UI build version G990B2XXU7GXE1 and G990EXXS9FXE2, respectively. Whereas, the Galaxy F62 and Galaxy F13 4G models are collecting the patch with version E625FDDS6CXE2 and E135FXXS6DXE2 respectively.
How to install
If you own any of the mentioned devices in India, you can manually check and install the patch via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
