Samsung has started rolling out the July 2024 security update for Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy XCover 7 users in the Middle East and Europe respectively. The fresh patch enhances system security and stability to deliver a better Galaxy experience. Samsung rolled out the latest security patch for its Galaxy A55 smartphone in India last week.
Based on One UI 6.1 and Android 14, the new update aims to enhance system security, optimize stability, fix bugs, and introduce advanced features to improve user experience.
The latest security patch fixes 4 critical and 21 high-level CVEs for the Android operating system. In addition, Samsung is also including 33 SVE items in the update. It resolves several issues including those affecting the One UI Home, System Property, System UI, Filter Provider, Secure Folder, Configuration Message, IMS service, Knox, MTP app, and others.
Notably, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy XCover7 smartphone users can identify the July 2024 security patch with the firmware version number A556EXXS4AXF6 and G556BXXS5BXF5, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy A55 and XCover 7 users are advised to install the July 2024 update immediately to take advantage of improved security measures. Those who have not received the update can check and install the update manually.

Galaxy 2024 Unpacked Event 2024
On the other hand, Samsung is preparing for its Galaxy 2024 Unpacked event to be held in Paris on July 10, 2024. At the event, the Korean tech firm will introduce new products including Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, Buds 3, Buds 3 Pro, New Ring, and Watch Ultra.
