One UI 7, the upcoming significant update for Galaxy devices, is something Samsung is continuously developing. Since the upcoming major upgrade will be built on Android 15, it will come with a number of Google-pushed features. Here is a report about one such feature that appeared during phone setup, which may come with Android 15.
During the process of configuring an Android device, you will be able to utilize several functions including email backup and Wi-Fi connectivity. Now that Quick transmit activation and deactivation capability for Android smartphones is ready to be introduced, users can transmit or receive data in the form of various formats.
Users will be much more aware of the capability when Quick Share is integrated into the user onboarding process. Most people are unaware that Android already offers features similar to AirDrop, and that these functions are excellent for the use cases that Android supports.
The setup wizard is getting more features than just Quick Share. Additionally included in the process will be Moment, satellite messaging, and auto crash detection. These three functions, though, are exclusive to Pixel device setups.
The Google Setup Wizard has not yet been updated. Nonetheless, when Android 15 eventually makes its way into the stable branch, we anticipate that these functionalities will be included.
It was formerly only compatible with Galaxy devices, but it is now more suited for Galaxy devices and functions on all Android-powered devices.
In addition, Google has added more new capabilities to Android 15 phone setup screens that are only available on Pixel devices. These features include the ability to enable and disable satellite messaging, detect traffic accidents, and use automation features.
