In accordance with One UI 6.1.1, the Expert RAW app will be upgraded. Six flagship Galaxy S24 and S23 series phones will get Astroportrait mode as part of the update’s first expansion. In the near future, we anticipate that a few more Galaxy devices will be able to use this feature.
The Expert RAW application now has Samsung’s AstroPhoto function. The business debuted the AstroPortrait feature with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. By using AstroPhoto, it can take a picture of a person, expanding the boundaries of what can be done with a mobile camera.
The Expert RAW is made to stitch together many operations in order to achieve this. In the first three seconds, the app will use the flashlight on the phone to take pictures of the people. Once this is done, the subject can move out of the frame and bide their time for the remaining AstroPhoto to be shot.
The addition to the flagship product range is excellent, even though the results are not remarkably exact. When subsequent upgrades come out, the corporation will undoubtedly improve the functionality. Thanks to Samsung’s creative approach to the Galaxy camera, this unique function has been made possible.
You can plainly see the person or people next to the starry sky in the sample below. During the first three seconds of capture, the astrophotography is captured in its original state and then equipped with an end image with a personal portrait.
Three steps are available for setting the shooting time: greater exposure times result in brighter, higher-quality photos. However, there are still drawbacks, like the inability to distinguish persons when the topic is too far away or there is inadequate light.
