A few days ago, Samsung announced One UI 6 Watch based on Wear OS 5 for Galaxy Watch devices. One UI 6 Watch will bring Galaxy AI to the company’s wearables, offering a range of AI-powered health features. New evidence suggests that Samsung may bring One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI features to all Android phones.

One UI 6 Watch will bring Galaxy AI including new metrics for energy score, wellness guides, workout routines, sleep information, personal heart rate zones, and Race mode for running or cycling. The company also reiterated the rollout of Galaxy AI features for payables next year.
As per the press release, Samsung has defined that the Energy Score and Wellness Guide features of One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI will work with all Android devices running on Android 10 and newer versions of the OS and Samsung Health app version 6.27 and newer versions of the app. So, if you have a phone other than Samsung, both these features will work on your Galaxy Watch without any hassle.
Condition for One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI features for Android devices:
Energy Score and Wellness Guide features
- Android devices running on Android 10 and newer versions of the OS
- Samsung Health app version 6.27 and newer versions of the app
One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI features only for Samsung devices:
Speaking of the new metrics in individual heart rate zones, which include Aerobic Threshold (AT), Anaerobic Threshold (ANT) and Functional Threshold Power (FTP), only the last of these will work with Samsung phones.
Finally, Samsung hasn’t clarified whether Workout Routines, Sleep Insights, and Race Mode will work with non-Samsung phones.
