Verizon is rolling out a new update with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 for Samsung Galaxy A53 5G devices in the US. The update brings new features and improves system security and stability for better performance.

Samsung has updated its Galaxy A53 5G with the flagship One UI 6.1 software to make it more secure and smarter. The update is initially rolling out in Europe, Indonesia, and Singapore and the company will expand it soon. It brings numerous new features and enhancements to provide a better user experience.

Identified via version A536EXXU9EXDE in Indonesia and Singapore and A536BXXU9EXDE in Europe, the One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A53 5G users will need to download approximately 2.2GB to install the update. It is rolling out slowly so it may take a few hours or days to reach all models.

The UI 6.1 update based on Android 14 brings new features and improvements compared to the previous UI. It adds new features to Gallery, Calendar, Widgets, Lock Screen, Security, Clock and more apps to deliver a smooth and intuitive experience.

If you received an update, install it now to experience the new feature. You can also check for updates by going to the Settings app on your smartphone and launching the Software Update section.

Now, tap on Download and Install option. If One UI 6.1 update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy smartphone.
