Samsung begins internal testing of One UI 6.1.1 on Galaxy S24 Ultra. One UI 6.1.1 is set to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July. However, the new build suggests that the public rollout will likely take place without a public beta and that select Galaxy S and A series devices will receive some improvements.
As spotted by @UniversIce, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is testing its next big upgrade – One UI 6.1.1. The most recent test build has version number S928BXXU2AXEB. Construction work may also be underway for non-Ultra models of the S24 lineup.
Additionally, One UI 6.1.1 will be the first major update for the Galaxy S24 series devices, which will bring several camera improvements and fixes. The tipster further mentions that although this software version is in its early stages, it will be thoroughly tested for a long time before it is introduced to users. This means that Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users can expect the One UI 6.1.1 update to be released in late July or August this year.
Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1.1 is the upcoming version of Samsung’s custom Android skin. It comes with new features and improvements across Galaxy devices, like better camera performance, better privacy and security, and more.
