Last week, Samsung confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for July 10, where it will typically announce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 with One UI 6.1.1.
Recently, tipster Evan Blass on X/Twiitter shared some images of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6, which showcased the phone from multiple angles. Plus, if you notice the cover screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, that reveals that you can add multiple widgets on it, which is not possible on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. So, we can say that One UI 6.1.1 could bring improved cover screen widgets for Z Flip phones.
However, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to have a 3.4-inch cover screen and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 also has a 3.4-inch cover screen, so the feature may be limited to those phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 may get the same widget arrangement feature with the One UI 6.1.1 update by the end of next month. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Flip 3 may not get the latest widget arrangement feature with One UI 6.1.1.
The One UI 6.1.1 update is expected to include improvements specifically to improve the functionality of the cover screen so that users can use it more easily to operate their Galaxy Z Flip phones.
