The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G smartphone is getting a new software update with the May 2024 security patch update in the US. This firmware fixes several issues to enhance the system security and stability of the device.
Updated May 23: Samsung is extending the May 2024 security patch to carrier-unlocked variants of the Galaxy S23 FE for the US. It brings the latest security update carrying version S711U1UES4CXE2.
May 18: The May 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G comes with One UI build version S711USQS4CXE2. The update is currently rolling out to models locked to the Verizon network carrier in the US and the brand will expand it soon.

The fresh security patch brings fixes for 25 Samsung-specific vulnerabilities and exposures (SVEs), as well as 3 critical and 26 high-priority common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) identified by Google.
Samsung is providing the latest software updates with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to provide smooth and uninterrupted functionality on your device.
To manually check for software updates on your Galaxy devices, go to your phone’s Settings. At the bottom you will find the Software Update section, just open it. If your Galaxy brings a new OTA then inside the submenu, you have to press the Download and Install button.
