Since the beginning of this month, Google Play has started receiving the July 2024 update. The new update brings several important improvements to Android smartphones, Android Auto, Android app, and Wear OS to bring you new and useful features.

As per the changelog mentioned on the support page, the new update comes with new features and bug fixes for the device.

Google Play services v24.26

The Google Play July 2024 update makes your Android device more secure and reliable by providing you with new amazing changes. Moreover, the latest update brings an update to Find My Device so you can now remotely lock your phone using just your phone number.

Apart from this, a new feature has also been added to it, now you can manage Google Play services from Settings.

Google Play Store v41.7

In addition, the July 2024 Android system update will let users send new apps for full threat analysis. Android’s install-time security is powered by Google Play Protect, which is being enhanced with the latest update.

You can identify these latest July 2024 updates of Google Play Services and Google Play Store through the v24.26 and v41.7 version numbers. However, the update is currently being rolled out gradually and you can check if the app on your phone has received the update.
