Google Photos for Android has also introduced a feature called Magic Editor, which was exclusive to Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. By the way, in April 2024, Google announced to inclusion of selected features in other Pixel and non-Pixel devices as well. Currently, Google Photos is rolling out the Pixel 8’s Magic Editor feature to Samsung Galaxy phones as well.
Apart from Magic Editor, Google Photos for Android and iOS offers several AI-powered photo/video editing tools like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light. It can be said that Magic Editor is an improved version of Magic Eraser, which lets you move people, objects, and animals anywhere in the photo. Also, it can completely remove objects just like Magic Eraser. It also lets you change the background including the sky which can be replaced with presets.
However, if you have a free Google account, you can use this feature to save only ten photos. If you want to save more them 10 photos than this, then you will have to get Google One.
