Smart home appliance operation is now more straightforward thanks to the Wear OS-powered Galaxy Watch. As Google revealed at Google I/O 2024 last month, this feature is presently available on Samsung’s latest and upcoming Galaxy Watches.

The Google Home app now has more complications and a new Favorites Tile for Wear OS smartwatches including Galaxy Watch for control Smart home devices. After you update the Google Home app to the most recent version and open it on your Galaxy Watch, the screen showcasing the new features will show up.
The new intricacies are directly usable on the Watch face. Another feature that shows all of your favorite smart home products is a Favorites Tile.
The application was opened by the previous Google Home complication. You are now shown a list of smart home devices you wish to control when you select the Google Home complication while modifying the watch face. The device’s name appears on your watch face after you select it. When you tap on it, the control page for that device is displayed and the Google Home app is launched.
The top five devices that you have added to the Google Home app’s favorites list are displayed in the Favorites tile.
Swipe right from the current watch face, press the + button, and select the Favorites tile from the Google Home app to add the new tile. When a device is tapped on that tile, the Google Home app takes you to that device’s control page.
For the Wear OS version of the Google Home app, Google unveiled a number of new capabilities. It provides additional devices with deeper levels of management. For instance, you can adjust the volume of a gadget, choose inputs for a TV, operate robot vacuum cleaner docks, and regulate the speed of a fan.
It allows you to adjust the washing machine, dishwasher, and air conditioner’s modes and toggles. In the next few months, further features might be made available.
