On the other hand, the Korean tech giant also started rolling out a June 2024 security update for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series smartphones in the US.

The new update for Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G can be identified via PDA version X518USQS4BXE1. The latest firmware is rolling out locked models on Verizon network carriers in the US and will soon expand to more markets.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE May 2024 Security Update Details
According to the information, the May 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G fixes over 33 vulnerabilities, including 3 critical, 26 high-level general vulnerabilities to improve system security. The patch also includes 25 Samsung-specific enhancements aimed at improving features such as Secure Folder and Multitasking Framework.
In addition to the latest security improvements, this new firmware brings system stability improvements to enhance device performance. In addition, system functions have also been enhanced to expand the overall performance of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G.
If you want to manually check for updates, go to device Settings, then tap on the Software Update menu and go to the Download and Install option.
