Currently, the Galaxy S24 series gets a slew of Galaxy AI features and capabilities with One UI 6.1 including Circle to Search, Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Wallpaper, Interpreter, and more.
As for One UI 6.1.1, we expect to see some new Galaxy AI features as well as several smaller changes. However, this upcoming One UI will not come to all Galaxy devices, only older foldables, tablets, and select non-folding flagship phones.
IceUniverse claims that the Galaxy S24 will get One UI 6.1.1 with new AI features in August. The Galaxy Unpacked will be held on July 10 in Paris, with the release of One UI 6.1.1 expected to begin later next month. This means that One UI 7 will not arrive very soon due to the rollout of One UI 6.1.1. Plus, the tipster also reveals that One UI 6.1.1 is not a small (minor) upgrade.
On the other hand, Samsung will update many of its apps before and after the official release of One UI 6.1.1. Also, One UI 6.1.1 may bring a generative graffiti image feature to many Samsung phones, this can be the most fun AI function ever, which will make the best use of SPen and imagination.
