Samsung is rolling out a July 2024 security update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users in different regions.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy S21 series are getting the July 2024 security update through the PDA versions mentioned below.

  • Galaxy S24 – US unlocked S921U1UES3AXFC, Thailand: S921BXXS3AXFD
  • Galaxy S24 Plus- US unlocked S926U1UES3AXFC, Thailand : S926BXXS3AXFD
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra – US unlocked S928U1UES3AXFC, Thailand : S928BXXS3AXFD
  • Galaxy S23 – S911BXXS6CXFC
  • Galaxy S23 Plus – S916BXXS6CXFC
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918BXXS6CXFC
  • Galaxy S21 – G991BXXSCGXF5
  • Galaxy S21 Plus – G996BXXSCGXF5
  • Galaxy S21 Ultra – G998BXXSCGXF5

The July 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is rolling out to unlocked models on T-Mobile and AT&T network carriers in the US and Thailand. The company will expand this update to Galaxy S24 models in more countries in the coming days or weeks.

Samsung has recently initiated the rollout of the latest July 2024 update for its Galaxy S23 series, starting in Europe, and is now extending to users in India. For the Galaxy S21 series, the update is live for users in Europe and the company will expand it to more countries soon.

The July 2024 update includes a Security Maintenance Release (SMR), which includes patches from Google and Samsung. Google has addressed 25 CEVs, including 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android.

Apart from Google, Samsung has also addressed 33 Galaxy vulnerabilities and exposures (SVEs) related to components such as One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further improving the security of the device.
