Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones, which brings the May 2024 security patch that fixes over 50 security issues.
Currently, the company is rolling out the May 2024 security update for Galaxy S22 to several countries in Europe and will soon be available to more countries, and is based on One UI 6.1.
The May 2024 security patch details include patches from both Google and Samsung to address vulnerabilities and bugs. Google has patched 3 critical and 26 high-level CVEs for the Android operating system.
Additionally, Samsung has also addressed 25 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items to enhance security. It fixes system-related issues to enhance the protection of Galaxy devices against potential security threats.
