Samsung has released the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series smartphones after the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23. However, this update is still in the early stages and is not yet available in all countries. Currently, it is only available in Europe, and will be released in other regions soon.
On the other hand, in addition, the Galaxy S22 series has recently received the second May 2024 security update in Europe. This update has improved system stability by fixing some bugs to provide seamless and uninterrupted functionality on your device.
Galaxy S22 gets June 2024 security update
Coming back to the topic, the software updates that bring the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra bring firmware versions S901BXXSAEXEC, S906BXXSAEXEC, and S908BXXSAEXEC, respectively.
This update fixes 59 security vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software, including 37 critical vulnerabilities within the Android operating system and addresses 22 specific issues related to Samsung’s software. As usual, it does not add new features or performance improvements.
