Amid all the hustle and bustle of the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is slowly rolling out the July 2024 security patch. After teasing it earlier this month, the company has only released it for two or three devices, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy A55. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the July 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones.

The update is available for users of these Galaxy S series smartphones in Europe and will be rolled out to more countries in the coming days. Samsung Galaxy S22 series users in Europe are receiving the July 2024 security update, which includes the One UI build mentioned below.
- Galaxy S22 – S901BXXSBEXFF
- Galaxy S22 Plus – S906BXXSBEXFF
- Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908BXXSBEXFF
This latest update brings significant security enhancements, fixes 25 critical vulnerabilities within the Android operating system, and addresses 33 specific issues related to Samsung’s software.
This is an early rollout, so it may take hours or days to reach all eligible devices with more registrations. To check and install the software, open the Settings app >> Software update >> Download and install.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series was recently spotted on Geekbench running Android 15. It got a single-core score of 1219 and a multi-core score of 2802. These scores show significant performance improvements over its existing software.
