After the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy S21 series smartphone users in India. The update brings limited Galaxy AI features and enhancements for a better and next-level experience.
As the month passes, more and more users around the world are getting the One UI 6.1 update on their Galaxy smartphones. After a limited release for the Galaxy S21 series in Korea, One UI 6.1 is making its way to 2021 flagships in other countries, and India has now been added to the list. The company will soon expand it to other countries.
The One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones can be recognized through One UI build versions G991BXXUAGXDA, G996BXXUAGXDA, and G998BXXUAGXDA respectively.
The major update comes with Google’s Circle to Search feature that allows users to easily search for anything on your screen without switching apps. Like users in other countries, Indian Galaxy S21 owners are getting the April 2024 security patch along with the update.
One UI 6.1 adds some more features like:
- Battery Protection feature: This allows you to choose different options to maintain battery capacity over the lifetime of your phone.
- Gallery Features: The Galaxy Gallery app allows users to move subjects from one image to another by simply touching, holding and clipping.
- Alarm: Users can customize the alarm background with their own images or videos.
