Last month Google announced that, starting May 15, Google Photos AI-powered features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light will be available to all users, including Galaxy devices, for free with any subscription. With these features, Google Photos aims to enhance photo editing by making its AI-powered tools widely accessible.
Until now, Google Photos for Android and iOS has been offering several AI-powered photo/video editing tools like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light, only for Pixel devices and those who subscribe to Google One. Well, now Google Photos AI editing tools finally seem to be taking effect on Galaxy devices and more non-Pixel devices.
Some people shared information on Reddit (Via) that they can use AI-powered editing tools in Google Photos on their non-Pixel devices including Galaxy phones, even if they are not subscribed to Google One. This means you should be able to take in the capabilities of Google Photos beyond Pixel devices, providing professional-level photo enhancements.
