Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones in the US, following its release in Korea and Europe. This update already rolling out for Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab 8S+.
Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4 get One UI 6.1 update in the US
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones are getting One UI 6.1 with PDA version F936USQU4FXE3 and F721USQU4FXE3 respectively. The update is currently rolling out on Verizon network in the US and the company will soon make it available to all models.
This software update for fourth generation Galaxy foldable devices includes the latest One UI 6.1 with new Galaxy AI features and improvements. Galaxy AI features include Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, and AI-Generated Wallpaper.
It also installs the April 2024 security patch to enhance the overall stability of these devices to ensure more reliable and consistent performance for users.
To manually check for One UI 6.1 update, go to your phone’s Settings. At the bottom you will find the Software Update section, just open it. If your Galaxy brings a new OTA then inside the submenu you have to press Download and Install button.
