One UI 7 does not have Dynamic Island, as disclosed by IceUniverse. As an alternative, Samsung has enhanced the features of the Status bar pill (ellipse icon). There are many more OS functions that the pill that displays call duration will reveal.
The tipster also mentioned that a timer/countdown and recording indicator will work with the status bar pill. The ellipse symbol might be used to incorporate more programs and features, but it isn’t as dynamic as Apple’s Dynamic Island feature.
Concept creator Vetrox360 posted a few concept pictures in response to the information leak. The idea consists of a dynamic status bar pill that works similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island.
The tipper confirmed the appearance and feel by mentioning that “Samsung makes your dream come true.” The status bar pill on Galaxy handsets won’t be bigger than the existing pill, which shows how long calls are still in progress.
The pill might enable dynamic colors in addition to the standard green color. The pill may be optimized to look and feel like the app icons. For example, the pill would turn red (ish) as the Recorder app has a red app symbol.
Next week, Samsung might launch the One UI 7 Beta Program. In the previous two years, the company had been able to start the Beta Program in August. By the end of next month, Google plans to release the official version of Android 15 for Pixel smartphones as well. The Galaxy S24 series for this year will be included in the Beta Program’s first phase.
The massive Korean IT company will gradually increase the number of qualified nations and gadget availability. We predict that the US, UK, South Korea, China, Germany, India, and Poland will host the beta program’s opening.
