One of the many innovations that Samsung’s first Ultra wristwatch offers is one additional button. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has a third physical button in addition to the two that come with standard Samsung smartwatches.

The standard pair of Back and Home keys are sandwiched by the third button. As of this writing, Samsung refers to it as a Quick Button, and it serves several purposes.
The Quick Button’s main function is to enable users of the Galaxy Watch Ultra to start and stop exercises without needing to touch or glance at the screen. Because the Galaxy Watch Ultra was made to withstand a variety of climates and conditions and an active lifestyle, having a physical button to start exercises can be useful.
Second, users have the ability to remap the Quick Button to perform different tasks, including opening an application. There aren’t many possibilities for custom mapping right now, but Samsung might add more options in the future.
The Emergency Siren is the last and third feature connected to the new Quick Button on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. This is a brand-new security function that is only compatible with the Ultra smartwatch.
According to Samsung, the Emergency Siren can produce noise up to 86 dB. It is audible from 180 meters away. Additionally, users of Galaxy Watch Ultra can activate it by briefly holding down the Quick Button for a few seconds.
The absence of a spinning physical bezel on the Ultra smartwatch may be compensated for by some users with this additional physical button. Anyhow, the robust Titanium-infused design, the 3,000 nits display, the enhanced BioActive sensor, and the new Exynos W1000 3nm CPU are just a few of the fantastic features of the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is now available for pre-order, and in select areas, a complimentary $79 wrist strap is included. You can also be eligible for trade-in savings of up to $350, depending on your location.
