With the One UI 6 beta program, Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 owners will be able to enjoy new features like Galaxy AI and more before the official release. The update offers Galaxy AI-powered sleep insights, new gesture controls, and an improved power-saving mode.
The new One UI 6 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series can be identified by the build version ending with ZXG3. It comes with an installation size of around 300MB and installs the July 2024 security patch to enhance the Galaxy Watch 5 system security.
Users of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series can currently enjoy this update in Korea and the company will soon make it available in more eligible countries. This update comes with important fixes and enhancements.
This new beta update fixes several bugs and performance issues seen in the beta update released last month. According to the changelog, Samsung has improved system optimization and stabilization, reduced power consumption, and made app launches faster.
However, users may notice an issue where the Always-On Display (AOD) fails to deactivate when not wearing the watch after installing the beta update.
