The Galaxy A55 is the first handset to receive the most recent security upgrade from Samsung, the July 2024 update, which is rolling out starting today and will roll out to other devices soon.
The July 2024 security update for the Galaxy A55 smartphone is available in India and will be available in other countries soon. The update comes with the One UI A556EXXS4AXF6 version, and installing the upgrade requires downloading a software file weighing around 225.97MB.
The July 2024 security update includes patches from Google and Samsung. Google obtains fixes for 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 do not apply to Samsung devices.
To further improve device security, Samsung has fixed 33 vulnerabilities and vulnerabilities (SVE) associated with Galaxy devices. These fixes are the primary topics of these SVE items, including One UI Home, System Properties, System UI, Filter Provider, Secure Folder, Configuration Messages, IMS Service, Knox, MTP App, and other topics.
