Galaxy S25 Ultra upgrade camera specs leaked
Samsung insider IceUniverse revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 200MP primary, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super-telephoto with 5x optical zoom. But the other two are finally getting a spot in resolution, which should hopefully overlap with a bump in quality too.
Cameras have been the focus of the Ultra line from the beginning. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 200MP primary sensor, although the S25 Ultra is said to have a better sensor, it gets a quad camera setup, consisting of a 200MP main camera and three 50MP cameras.
In comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super-telephoto camera sensor with 5x optical zoom.
There were earlier rumors that Samsung may also use a new 200MP sensor for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which could be closer to the 1-inch sensor in size. If this is true, we could see a drastic change in camera quality with the next tier.
