Galaxy AI feature supported Galaxy phones and tablets

Earlier this year in January, during the Galaxy S24 launch event, Samsung announced that it would bring Galaxy AI features to 100 million devices. Samsung plans to offer Galaxy AI features for free on supported Samsung Galaxy devices through the end of 2025.

In the first phase, Samsung included the Galaxy AI feature with One UI 6.1 only flagship phones and tablets launched in 2023 in late March 2024. On May 02, The second phase finally started with Samsung starting the One UI 6.1 update rollout for the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in South Korea.

These Galaxy AI features were created to streamline your Galaxy experience, so you can fully use your phone or tablet as you go about your daily life without interference.

  • Circle to Search
  • Zoom Nightography
  • Chat Assist
  • Generative edit
  • Note Assist in Samsung Notes
  • Live Translation
  • Photo editing suggestions
  • AI enhanced wallpaper
  • Browsing Assist
  • Voice Recorder
  • Transcript Assist
  • Interpreter

The One UI 6.1 software update is required to use Galaxy AI features on eligible Samsung devices, these Galaxy devices include all 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021 Samsung flagship models.

However, Galaxy AI is not supported on the Tab S9 FE, Galaxy A series (except Galaxy A35 5G) or other models. Available Galaxy AI features may vary depending on the device and the One UI version.
